Knitting for the Dogs
We all love them - you know what I mean.  We love our pets like family.

And we love to knit.

Now we can have our cake and eat it too.  Kristi Porter recently published Knitting for DogsDon't be freaked by the title - it does not mean knitting for dogs (dogs learning to knit) but rather irresistible patterns for your favorite pup.

So why not?  If you have a cute pooch that could use a little warmth and fashion, use some of that extra yarn and start on one of the twenty easy-to-follow patterns.

The book description says that there are

"foolproof instructions on how to properly measure a dog so that the project comes out just right"

Most customer reviews were very positive.  One customer notes that the book is unque in that it includes a "wide range of pattern sizes, plus information on how to custom-fit items to your dog."

According to Kristi's blog, Knitting for Dogs ranks as the 34th most popular knitting book sold on Amazon (in terms of sales) out of 1,394 knitting books offered. You can also see several pictures of dogs with their knitted fashions on her blog.  Lots of fun.

Just because it is for dogs doesn't mean it is for beginners.  The book assumes you have basic knitting skills.  Have fun.  Be sure and email me with any pictures of your dog and her sweater.  I will post the first ten I receive.
