The New Years tradition dates back 4,000 years. I like the Welsh superstition that my hubby described on his blog Leadernotes,
So I hope all of you open your doors (at least metaphorically) and have a wonderful 2006.
How about this for a resolution:
Are you with me? Don't leave me hanging on this alone. We can all do with a little exorcism of our past sins. Come on, commit right now to reduce that pile of fabric with a pile of quilts. If you stick with it, by next December you may have three or four hand-made gifts. If everyoone you know already has a quilt made by you, consider a children's hositable or shelter.
If you have any other great resolution ideas, don't be shy. Leave me a comment.

I don't know if I can commit to using up 50% of my stash - that would require that I not buy anymore!!! :o) My resolution is to do my Christmas sewing bit by bit all year so I don't run out of time come December. I think this year, my theme for gifts will be purses.

Have you visited the stash quilts web ring? It's for quilting bloggers who want to use up stash... http://judylaquidara.com/stashquilts.html
I have started attacking my fabric stash to make fabric bowls, bags, purses, totes, etc., and scarves. And I just leanerd how to knit with fabric strips- all other ways to play with stash fabric, but not in the same old ways!!
