"In Between Stitches"--A Quilt and Gift Store Which Inspires Creativity
PA150341.JPG

I discovered this quilt shop, “In Between Stitches” while attending the Pacific International Quilt Festival held last year. I loved their display, the “flavor” of the shop’s booth and how friendly and helpful the staff was. I thought I would show you a few pictures I took of their display which has a “modern-vintage” look and feel. They had kits for most of their quilts for easy shopping. They also have a nice selection of decorative gift items which compliment and coordinate with the quilts on display. Their entire “package presentation” was inspiring and fresh and made me want to buy one of each kit and get to work!

I checked out their website, which is under construction at the moment, but it will be worth putting it on your “check out frequently” list. They have several Block of the Month programs and they are sponsoring their third annual “fun-filled and relaxing” quilting retreat at the end of March near their shop in Livermore, Ca.PA150340.JPG

Their website states:” In Between Stitches is a quilt store located in Livermore, California a wonderful town with much to offer for everyone. The store opened February 14, 2002; the owners are Leslie Emery and Melissa Emery. We offer a wide variety of quilting fabrics, notions, books, and patterns. Each quarter we offer a wide selection of quilting classes and also some garment classes. Our theme is "A Place Where Friendships Grow", and we are proud of the fact that so many customers have met one another in our store and wonderful friendships have grown.”

I visit In Between Stitches every time I am in the Livermore, CA area. It is a beautiful store. One thing I like best is that they are open on Sunday!

I love this shop. Love Elizabeth's quilt shown here & love my good buddy Pam there on the left in the red shirt.

I'm looking for a fabric Tabby Cat, a fabric print that can be cut and sewn into a stuffed cat. The cat is about 13" tall when finished. I believe the tabby cat is printed on muslin. It’s a reproduction of the Arnold Print Works famous children’s toy. I can send you a photo if you need one.

There are three pieces to the printed fabric: front, back and bottom, showing the cats paws.

Please let me know if you have this print. I'm looking to purchase a few panels.

Thank you,
