What can you do with those left over bobbins and threads...the ones that don’t have enough thread on them for a sewing project, but you feel bad throwing away a ¼ filled bobbin of  thread or the tail end of a spool of thread?

Recently, I was in a training session for our long arm quilting machine, I noticed a big ‘ol pile of unwound thread sitting on a table. I asked what they were saving it for and I was told that a lady picks it up and uses it for projects. I could not imagine what type of project she would use it for.. until…

I saw this book, “Fast, Fun & East Incredible Thread-A-Bowls” listed in the “Product Showcase” on the Fabric Shop Network website.

This book will teach you how to “turn sewing machine thread into bowls and dimensional works of art”!

I am not sure what in the world I would put in the bowls, but they do look pretty cool.

So I decided, I might be unwinding my left over bobbins and see what kind of “dimensional work of thread art” I can make.
