Jessica at Seedpod Books and Art is starting a BLOCK SWAP! You can sign up starting today March 1 with the sign-ups ending on March 8.
Jessica’s BLOCK SWAP was inspired by the Denyse Schmidt workshop she recently attended.
So check out her plan and the details of this block swap on her site or send her an email her at blockswap@seedpodbooksandart.com . One cool rule of the swap is that the design of the blocks are up to you… it can be funky, free form or straight and traditional-but keeping it graphic and abstract, so says Jessica.
So in a nutshell, here is the deal. Make ten blocks. Turn them in to Jessica.. Get 9 blocks back to make yourself a quilt. All of the “10th blocks” will be collected and made into charity quilts.
The blocks must also include at least one or two of these colors of Kona Cotton as shown here. And you have until April 7th to finish your blocks and turn them in.
The first 50 people interested and committed are in. Have fun.

Thanks for the plug, Gina. As of 11:00 Thursday morning I have about 25 people, so we're half way there.
I'm excited there's interest out there, and I think all of our quilts will turn out amazing!
