Now, here is a chance to get a “sneak peak” of Amy's new Home Décor line…FOREST.
And Amy is guest blogging again today!
FOREST
Inspired by the flora and fauna of nature, FOREST is the latest line of Home Decor Fabrics from designer Amy Butler for Kokka of Japan.
Earthy, natural, yet modern designs interpreted with organic & rich color palettes combine for an enchanted mix of pattern and texture.
Grounded in the romantic and cool silhouettes of the wild - FOREST is designed for the naturally modern nest.
Here is what Amy has to say about her inspiration about the line:
”Forest's inspiration is nature inspired and is where my ' heart " is in my home right now. My husband David and I are constantly re-inventing our " nest ". Right now we surround ourselves with souvenirs from nature, found bird's nest, dried leaves, gorgeous lake stones and tons of plant life! Forest is a culmination of what I love, which is an evolutionary process and that's what makes it so enjoyable.
Forest is printed on 100%, 44" wide cotton. The cotton is a high quality, heavy weight weave that is perfect for making home dec projects or personal accessories like handbags.
I've had a blast making gorgeous pillows, throws and clothing items to
inspire on our web site. These lifestyle images will start appearing soon!
Please check back at www.amybutlerdesign.com for more details.
Forest has 3 unique palettes: Fresh Air, Grass and Dusk, all of which combine graceful prints and graphics in natural combinations.
In the photo above, Amy is sporting a short sleeved shrug in her photo above which is made from the Forrest fabric line.
Coming soon...
In the next few days, Amy will continue to be the guest blogger on QuiltersBuzz…
Her topics will include: new patterns, publication of her first sewing book, the Amy Butler Sew It Kit, a stationery line and the launch of an official web store! So much to look forward too! Stay tuned.
(Photos and graphics pretty much all came from Amy's hubby. Thanks Dave!)
