What a great Father's Day Weekend of fun activities.
We watched a few World Cup Soccer Games…great games with crazy refereeing in the USA game... Swimming, Golf and a BBQ.
But the BEST EVENT of the day… was the Diet Coke and Mentos BLAST!
We saw this experiment on the News and we just had to try it for some Fathers Day Fun!
Here’s how it works…
Take the lid off a liter bottle of Diet Coke…quickly drop in 6 or 7 Mentos candy (mint flavored is what we used) and Watch Out!…Because almost instantaneously a giant fountain of Diet Coke erupts into an unbelievable steam of brown foam straight up into the air…and in seconds it nearly empties the bottle. It is so fun; we have done in twice since!
And no sticky mess…cause it is Diet.
Try it…it is cheap thrill for the whole family…and costs only about $2.

Ha! who ever thought a bottle of coke could be so much fun. I'll have to try it myself. We are a coca cola family so we are always looking for new ways to enjoy our coke.
