“Life is too short to be…Traditional” is Amy’s motto. And she is anything but.
In “Quilter’s Yearbook” you are given the patterns, methods and techniques to make the faces of your favorite quilters on your quilt. Mix and match hairstyles, glasses, facial features and clothing. This is a perfect quilt to make for a friendship group, a friend moving away or as a gift for the president of your quilter’s guild.
The plumb faces of a cute baby adorn the quilt made from the “Peek-A-Boo” book. A “screaming baby”, a “sleeping baby” and a “baby sucking a pacifier” are just three of the nine different design options.
Both of these quilt books use “cartoon” faces that can be adapted and personalized—to help you create that perfect quilt for someone.
Amy also has t-shirts, note cards and other quilt patterns including a block of the month series. Among her favorite cartoon quilter’s which are featured on her shirts and note cards are: The Quilt Squad: members include ”Fabric Stasher”, “Needler”,”Chain Piecer” and “Perfect Presser”.
Amy has a background in art and graphic design. She has been quilting for fun for years and combined those two loves into a quilting business in the fall of 2002.
She has been seen on episode #934 of Simply Quilts on HGTV. Some of her inspirations come from living with a veterinarian husband—and their many comical adventures with animals.

I need more ideas to do with Baxter on the Dazzling Dogs quilt. I have two scottie dogs and love the baxter design. I just need more ideas to do different blocks with Baxter.
