Cat lovers, quilters and sewers will love sewing this cat basket for their favorite
feline friend. I ran across this tutorial through an online link at www.whipup.net.
The cat basket tutorial comes from Hannah, a mixed media artist, via a Whip Up posting made by Kathreen Ricketson.
FYI--Thought you may be interested in the Whip Up manifesto:
The website Whip Up is for “experimentation, innovation, self- expression and for the sharing of information and ideas", states their manifesto. "Whip up is against mass produced small plastic crappy stuff designed specifically to extract money from wallets, last less than 10 minutes and spend eternity in landfill”. Go to Whip Up to read the entire manifesto, link to their contributors and check out their creations. It is quite a ride.
Anyway, back to the cat basket…Hannah on her blog, “I Hanna”, presented a great tutorial and pattern to make this “cat basket” She has great photos and step-by-step directions. And her cat, Smilla, seems happy in its bag! Check it out.
