“They are really giving me a chance to break out of my mold and have given me freedom to express myself in my designs,” she said. (She agreed with me that FreeSpirit Fabrics is really living up to their name “FreeSpirit” and giving freedom to their designers.)
She has already delivered the artwork for her new fabric lines to Free Spirit…and
In the meantime, her line "Tickled Pink" (three pieces show above) is in shops now and she still has two other lines that South Seas Imports will be distributing. One is a wonderful Christmas line called “Holly Go-Lightly”
When I ran into Robyn she was shopping for trims and ribbons at Market and after our chat I asked to take her photo…but, we got yelled at for taking a picture in a trim and ribbon booth. So, Robyn and I took two giant steps sideways so we would not get yelled at again. The first photo (above) was “in violation”--the other photo (below) in the aisle just outside of the booth—is perfectly legitimate. Thanks for being a good sport Robyn!
Robyn said she is also working on updating her website, so check it to see her new lines, patterns and happenings.
