Here is another “scrap buster project”. Look at these fun oven mitts made by Karen at Pink Chalk Studio. She made them by piecing fabulous scraps together, using a layer of batting and a layer of Insul-Brite. She even used her leftover quilt binding to bind the mitts.

I have used a version of this item it at Kinko’s and other copy stores (mostly, when I was making felt sports banners and high school campaign posters) and I always thought it was a great gadget to have…it is a Proportional Scale.
