Another "Fabric Scrap Buster"--Create Cool Oven Mitts
Here is another “scrap buster project”. Look at these fun oven mitts made by Kathy atoven mits.jpg Pink Chalk Studio. She made them by piecing fabulous scraps together, using a layer of batting and a layer of Insul-Brite. She even used her leftover quilt binding to bind the mitts.

Another great fabric recycling project for sure!

She used the oven mitt pattern "Too Hot Too Handle" in Denyse Schmidt’s book, Quilts.

You can see other oven mitt projects inspired by Denyse Schmidt on the DS Flicker Group.

Great fun project and fabulous colors! Good job Karen.
