A Quilter Gets Inspired And Writes a Manifesto
fabric8.jpgHere is a newly written manifesto (who was inspired by Jen at “Red Instead Blog” who's crafter’s manifesto I posted a  few days ago).

This quilter's manifesto was written by reader Melinda.

I like it. (Especially the last line!)

 Thanks for your thoughts Melinda!

A "New" Quilting Manifesto:

- Get quilting

-Spread my beautiful fabrics all around me and leave them there to see whenever I pass my sewing room.

-Make a list of the new fabrics I need (and want)

-Give any excess to charity quilt makers

-Have plenty of projects on the go, there can never be too many

-Make sure everyone I love has a quilt made by me before I die.

I especially like that one! I'd rather make quilts for others anyway. :-)

Oh, that's perfect! I'll have to print it out or bookmark it or something.
