Confessions of a Blog-A-Holic!
Sorry, Kim, I did not mean to open the blogging door so wide that once you go in…you never want to go out!
My knitter/crocheter -turned quilter friend, Kim, has now become hooked on blogs and has a confession to make.
Here is what she has to say.
“Ok- I'm addicted. Addicted to blogs! I can't stop. Link after link- I can't get enough of all these crafty girls out there! Everyone is soooo talented. And every morning I have to see what new fun things they have designed, knit, quilted, sewed, etc.
And then I find new links and new shops and new fun stuff.
It all started with my friend Gina's blog QuiltersBuzz. She is a wonderfully talented gal and I love her fun and funky style! (Seriously folks, she said that all on her own!) But then I started linking around and got addicted! And all the great stuff I have found, and BOUGHT! Oh my, I have spent a fortune this summer.
Hopefully when school starts and I head back to work I won't have time to sit for hours in front of this blue screen to shop and read and dream and learn about other peoples lives around the world! (NOT)
With so many of my own little projects laying around waiting to be finished, I have GUILT for ignoring them to look at all the fabulous creations others are whipping up.
So, I need to buckle under and maybe put on a timer when I log on to my computer."
Some of Kim’s regular visits include—some of my favorites as well:
Wee Wonderfuls
Posie Gets Cozy
Whimsy
Pink Chalk Studio
Elisalou Designs
I'm Knitting as Fast as I Can
Yarn Harlot
Angry Chicken
Anyways Gina, now you know what you have created a BLOG monster!
Happy Blogging!
(Photos shown are some of Kim's favorites: a cake pincushion from Whimsy and some postcards from Angry Chicken/Kingpod.)

Thanks for listing me in your line-up Kim! As a fellow blog a holic I thought starting one would cure my ills. Truth be told it fanned the flames. I do get more done myself so at the end of the day it wasn't a bad move. Let me know when you start yours up :)

I'm so addicted to blogs and QuiltersBuzz is my Grand Central Station. I come to this "station" and the QB train always takes me many stops on the link line into the Blog Vortex. If only I had the time to do it all... to be quility & crafty, to blog and to click, click, click! I don't know how some of these crafty ladies can do it all... but I thank everyone for the joy and inspiration you provide us all! Thank you QuiltersBuzz (aka Mama Blog to me)! - Monica in Astoria, Oregon
