Here is a great quilting tip from Kim at Dioramarama.
Stalled with your quilting design?
Here is a tip I picked up from a mini workshop at the Austin Area Quilt Guild:
1. Take a photo of your quilt top
2. Get it enlarged to 8"x10"
3. Slip it in a plastic sleeve
4. Use a wet- or dry-erase marker to sketch out your quilting ideas.
Great idea. Thanks for sharing it!
P.S. Author note from Kim: "I'm finding that using the thick black marker (as shown in photo) is throwing me off ." Use a very fine or thin marker...that works the best!

I use a dry erase marker on my bathroom mirror and hold up my top to see if I like it. Also I practice free motion quilting with a dry erase marker on my bathroom mirror.
