Here is a Sneak Peak of Quilts From the "Soon- to- Be- Released" Patchwork Book From Kaffe Fassett and Liza Lucy...Kaleidoscope of Quilts
Here is a Sneak Peak of three quilts that will be featured in the new patchwork book from Kaffe Fassett and Liza Lucy, called “Kaleidoscope of Quilts”.

The quilts in this book were photographed in Malta in the Mediterranean, under the watchful eye of editor and quilt maker, Pauline Smith. (I would volunteer for thatKaffe Malta HotDiamonds.jpg working assignment in that location anyday!…I would make a great “head quilt hauling girl” or “the best electrical cord carrier” or really I would do anything they would want me to do! )

Anyway, the new book will be available in shops in the next few weeks.

And according to a note from Liza, Kaffe did all the styling for the booKaffe Malta NewOrleansStar006.jpgk. It looks quite fabulous, I must say!

If you are a Kaffe fan and want "one-stop shopping” for Kaffe’s fabric and other Kaffe creations…check out Liza’s online shop, Glorious Color,  which specializes in fabric, books, patterns and other products (including the pajamas I want) designed or selected for quilters by Kaffe Fassett.

FYI-Book editor, Pauline Smith, is the “glue that holds this book together” according to Liza. Pauline is a quiltmaker who lives in Yorkshire, UK, and has her own designs andseven easy peices.jpg sews for Kaffe as well. Rowan published her book Seven Easy Pieces, which has seven easy projects for beginning quilters.

I am looking forward to saying “Hi” to Liza and Kaffe at Quilt Market in a few weeks. I will be checking out some of his new fabric collection and thumbing through the new book.

(Photos came across the sea to be seen first by you...thanks to Liza and Kaffe...Quilts from top to bottom are named: "Hot Diamonds", "New Orleans Star" and "Deep Ohio Star")
