Hello Everyone!
Fall is in full form here in Ohio! It's been beautiful and tree's colors have been super intense with our early cool temps and rain. I've been hunkering down in my studio getting ready for Fall Quilt Market, making and sampling, planning and packing.
It's an invigorating time, and I'm jazzed about all of my new products that are launching soon! I thought it would be fun to share my strike offs below from my new fabric collection with Rowan called “Lotus ".
These little snip-its are what I get to work
I get silly about them, carrying them around and dreaming about all fun samples I'll get to
make once my yardage comes in.
I'm LOVING all 3 color palettes from Lotus! The combinations are endless with color stories that are perfect for quilts, clothing, accessories and home decorating projects. I can't wait for everyone to see them live and in person!
These are some pretty graphics my husband David created for my hand
outs at quilt market. We literally had the full size strike offs for two days and we
scanned all 52 prints.
Yeah super Dave! Here you can see a snip it from all 3 palettes, left to right, top to bottom is Palette 2, Faded China, Palette 1, Damask Rose, and Palette 3, Tea Box.
Lotus is inspired by the Orient and all things exotic! The collection is a fusion of intricate Asian detail mixed with vivid, bold patterns that elegantly combines a touch of the old with new.
Rich colors from the 3 distinct palettes accentuate floral bouquets of peonies and water lilies. Modern in spirit, Lotus is a harmonious mix. It's my favorite combination of feminine shapes and colors with eclectic contemporary graphics.
Lotus will start shipping the end of December and should be in stores
in January!
Thanks Amy for the update. But wait, there is more coming!
Look for her new patterns and other goodies later this week!
Plus, I plan on meeting up with Amy at Market in a few days and will have some great photos of her booth and samples as well.

She designs beautiful fabrics! I wish she would tell us a little bit about her inspiration. Look at this:
