Here is Amy Butler…Telling us more about the good stuff coming our way!
Fall is in the air, especially in Ohio where Amy Butler is busy at her studio working on new designs and patterns—all to be presented at Fall Quilt Market in a couple of days. But here, once again, is a sneak peak of some new goodies…
And here is Amy:
“Speaking of the gorgeous Fall colors...."Belle"comes to mind. Belle was my spring release collection with Rowan and I've featured my Sun Glow palette below to get you excited about warm, cozy colors. Fall leaves and blue sky!
The entire line is still completely available and will continue to be available for the next year, which is great if you find yourself mid-way through a quilt and you need just one more fat quarter to get you through, you should be able to find it!
Shown here is a photo of my friend Drenda wearing a knee length gothic Victorian trench coat I designed made completely from Belle patchwork! Look for more photos to come!
Messenger Bag --perfect for a laptop!
I'm so proud to introduce my NEW Fall pattern the Hight Street Messenger
Bag!
Many of you remember my Rural Messenger Bag from a couple of years
ago, but this is a completely new design with great features!
I used my home décor fabric " Forest " to make the exterior and lining of the bag.
The heavy weight material gives the bag a sturdy feel and offers enough support for books, notepads and a laptop. The pattern is ready now and will be shipping to retailers next week!
My messenger bag is designed with both girls and guys in mind.
It's a clean, modern shaped bag that maximizes space while remaining
sleek in it's silhouette. With multiple interior pockets, and a super
easy magnetic or Velcro closure- this bag is is functional as it
is fashionable. Perfect for the classroom, boardroom, or wherever life takes you. The interior holds 14" x 12" x 3", enough for a 14" laptop computer and notebooks.
Good Stuff Fer Sure. Thanks Amy.

PS More A.B. to Come!

Bah! I think Amy Butler is on a lot of quilters' bad lists at the moment given all the recent questions about her inspiration

All cute! And since she has clarified /modifed ? how we may use these beautiful fabrics, I will be incorporating some of these lovelies into my own designs now.
