Moda Offers Up A "Taste of Fabric Goodies" With Their Jelly Rolls of Fabric Strips...And Here is A "Look-See" of Some New Fabric Lines Coming Your Way

First, Moda offered up collections in fat quarter bundles, then charm squares—a pack of 5” squares of fabrics that lets you get a “taste” of each fabric in a line—and now…Moda is introducing “Jelly Rolls” –and here is Lissa to tell us more! (Plus you can see a bit of the new lines to be introduced at Quilt Market this weekend.)
“I am so excited about all things Moda has to offer this season. The designers have all created fantastic, refreshing and different lines.”
“There is certainly something for everyone. Moda has added Jelly rolls to the fabric cuts for this season. Jelly Rolls consist of 40 strips from a collection.
Each of the strips are laser cut at 2 1/2" by the width of the fabric. Whether you need fat quarter bundles, charm squares or 2 1/2" strips.
We have it all. The first collection of jelly rolls, Bound to the Prairie 2 by Kansas Troubles, will be available at your favorite quilt shops beginning late December.
The remaining collections will ship throughout January through April. Collect them all! We will also have Sandy Gervais' new line and Minick & Simpson's new line available as Jelly Rolls."
Ed note: I got chance to check out Fig Tree Quilts Jelly Roll in person the day it was sent to Joanna Figueroa...but she then had to snatch it away so she could run home a make a quilt sample using those strips of her new line, "Folklorique". When I find her booth at Market, I will post of photo of the quilt she made with her allocated "Jelly Roll'!
Jelly Rolls are a great idea…and fat free too! Thanks Lissa for the info, we will be looking for them in our favorite shops.
(Photos of the Jelly Rolls thanks to Moda. They include: Sanctuary by 3 Sisters;
Spring Fling by Me & My Sister; Bound in the Prairie 2 by Kansas Troubles; Sunshine by April Cornell; Canoe Country by Holly Taylor; Chelsea Boutique by Blackbird Designs and Folklorique by Fig Tree Quilts.)
