Each of my kids learned to read with “Dick and Jane”,
So I have a warm place in my heart for “Dick and Jane”.
And they back! Michael Miller Fabrics has reproduced the illustrations from the books into a fabric line.
I think the response from quilt shop owners was great. There was a bit of a “buzz” going through the aisles at the convention center.
Look for the collection to arrive soon at your favorite quilt shop.
They had a wonderful display at Quilt Market and I could not resist taking a photo with a couple of my favorite kids “Dick and Jane”. (See Sally. See Sally look out the window. Look Sally Look. Oh Sally Oh!)

Wow! What a brilliant idea! I can't wait to get my hands on this fabric. I'm already imagining the gifts I could make with it. (Pajamas, anyone?)

You bet, this is going to be awesome. I am already thinking of making a purse out of the fabric. :-)

You can get a pattern Dick and Jane by Donna Westerkamp at pattern peddlers or quilterswarehouse. The pattern is for a twin size bed and uses the Dick and Jane fabric.
