And it is just plain fun! Pick your colors (at least 2--I picked 4 in the two examples shown here) and pick the number of rows and watch the stripe pattern appear ...hit the "refresh button" and see more striping combinations. Here is what the author, caitlind, says:
"I wrote this script to generate random stripe patterns for knitting sweaters, scarves, blankets, etc. It'll give you an idea of what the finished sweater will look like, but it still leaves some unpredictability to the stripe pattern.
Thanks to Blather Magather for the tip on the fun new tool to play with. My kids have had a bunch of fun with it too!

Wow...that really is fun! I used Christmas colors and it really got me fired up to work on my holiday crafts!
