I had the chance to participate in a “Denyse Schmidt” inspired block swap a few
months back. Jessica at Seedpod spearheaded this adventure, setting the “rules” for block making, collecting the finished blocks and redistributing them to all participants. We all made 10 blocks, (see a bunch of blocks on Jessica's design wall in photo) we got 9 assorted ones back and this quilt for charity was made with a collection of the 10th
blocks.
Jessica pieced the top together. Stephanie and I pieced the back and quilted it. And now it is ready to be auctioned off.
Here is a photo of the finished “modern” quilt. Stunning I must say.
What do you think?
