Here is a sneak peek for the new Denyse Schmidt fabric line called “Katie Jump Rope”.  And a quick note from Denyse.

“I'm excited about my newest fabric collection, due out in late spring! As you can see the inspiration for the colors (and the name) comes from this adorable jump rope a good friend of mine gave me, which she found at the flea market.

The prints are inspired from vintage finds, with a mix of geometrics, florals, and a range of scales.

The colors feel fresh and pure to me, and though the two color ways are not necessarily an obvious "match", they make for some “fab” combinations. And of course the quality of the fabric is top-notch!

The “Katie Jump Rope” line is coming from FreeSpirit/Westminster Fabrics (Yup, the merger between these two fabric companies was finalized in January!) and will be shown at Spring Quilt Market in early May.
