Organize Your Fabric Stash With This Nifty Gadget

My internet surfing buddy Kim Jacob, finds some of the best gadgets and ideas.  I asked her to share her favorites with us on QuiltersBuzz.  So here is one of “Kim’s Fantastic Finds”.

“While surfing the internet the other day, I came across this nifty gadget for helping to keep your fabric STASH organized. I am always looking for ways to keep my sewing room looking good and this product seemed to fit the bill.

Organize pieces of yardage or fat quarters on these Fabric Organizers” by DeNieces Designs.

You can store up to 5 yards on a single organizer. It has tabs that you "hook" your fabric under and then wrap it around and secure it, similar to the way bolts of fabric are found in shops, but much smaller.

There is even a FAT quarter organizer available. They can be stored flat, stacked or standing.

They cost around $2 each and you could organize your stash by fabric color, design, style or whatever suits your fancy!

I like to be able to see what I have and this will help me from having to dig through piles searching for that special piece!

If you want to find out more about this product, you can see how to use them here.  And ask for the “Fabric Organizer at your local quilt or fabric shop.

Thanks for the tip Kim.
