Here is another great quilting project set to make a difference in society.

 The “Beloved Quilts Project” is a program that is based on the idea to give the homeless and less fortunate people a personal quilt so they can have a sense of ownership and know that there are people who care about them.  These handmade quilts have the words “BELOVED” appliquéd on them.

 The Beloved Quilts Project is currently distributing these quilts to the less fortunate in the Boston, MA area.  Volunteers are hoping for this project to be in place in others cities soon.

 The Beloved Quilts Project is supported by grants and donations, but it’s the volunteers who make the difference.
