While at Quilt Market, I always look forward to seeing how the various companies display their goods. As I “walked market”, I got the chance to meet and greet some of the nicest people in the quilt fabric making business and check out their booths.
United Notions/ Moda Fabrics, year after year, always have the greatest displays and presentations—all under the guidance of marketing director, Lissa Alexander. (Shown here showing us some of the new fabrics coming this fall.)
The talented Moda designers circle around the “Moda Mother” and follow the lead with some of the best booths at the show. Here are just a couple of photos.![]()
Eric Figueroa, of Fig Tree Quilts, had to cover the booth when wife, Joanna, was sick. He was surprisingly willing to don an apron for a photo…and he was so “fresh vintage” in his Allspice Tapestry ruffle apron.
American Jane’s, Sandy Klop, showed her stuff in award winning style and won a best booth award. Her booth was showcasing her new line “Look and Learn”—a stunning children’s line.

Gina-
Nice!
I see that you waited to post that picture of Eric when you knew he was on vacation in a foreign land :-) LOL
Nice story. Thanks for including us... you are always the best PR person around.
Talk to you soon,
Joanna and Eric

I am astonished at how Fresh Vintage a beautiful apron can make even the "manliest" of men. Thanks for posting me to the world Gina - I am sure I will find an opportunity to pay you back for the favor!
