One of my favorite things about Quilt Market…Meeting some of the nicest people in the industry.  Our booth was across from Jacqueline Sava’s “Soak” booth and kiddy-corner to artists, Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably’s of Rowan Fibers booth.

I hit it right off with Jacqueline at last market when she wholeheartedly approved of one of our quilt designs…it was nice to hang out with her and yarn guru, Kirsten Muench.  I have talked about “Soak” products before…perfect for cleaning quilts, knitted projects, fine washables and MORE…

 By MORE, I mean…

When Jacqueline and I were “smoozing” a bit with Kaffe and Brandon…Brandon admitted that he had “washed out his knickers” the night before using a sample packet of “Soak”.  So I could not pass up the photo opportunity…with Kaffe, Jacqueline and Brandon with his “clean Calvins”.

Others coming to the “Soak” booth came seeking the smell  of “Amy Butler”…

Jacqueline and Amy B. collaborated on a scent called "Sola" Soak  which will be available soon.

At the last TNNA show (National NeedleArts Assoc.), Jaqueline's mom gave me a handful of Soak samples for just that purpose! She told me to always keep one in my luggage in case I had to wash some undergarments in a pinch. :)
