Thanks for telling us what you did for summer vacation! Looks like most of you got a chance to quilt a bit, fondle some fabric and play on the sewing machine. Plus, most of you enjoyed some family time.
And for comment makers number 19 (Sequana) and 36 (Phyllis in
You will receive a 12 pack of Threaded Pear Patterns from my design studio. (Shown here is Dutch Girl Bowties)
We are getting ready for Quilt Market again. (It seems like we just got back!) We will have 12 more quilting patterns, and 3 more apron patterns. We are frantically sewing, quilting, and binding. Then, we ship off our quilts to Gregory Case, our photographer, to do his magic. Here is a sneak peek of a couple of new patterns from our studio.
We just got these proofs back from Gregory...this quilt is from our "Afternoon Delights" pattern series and is called, “Skipping Squares”, our samples are made from Denyse Schmidt’s “Katie Jump Rope” line from FreeSpirit. (Denyse Schmidt even named this quilt for us!). Our yellow flavored version is made of a cross section of Moda fabrics. We used these same yellow fabrics to make “scrappy” curtains for our booth. Do you like this soft-edged applique quilt? We will be debuting our second pattern series in October at Quilt Market.

Hi Gina,
I just want to say thank you. I recieved the patterns you sent me after my name was drawn last week. They are great and I have so many choices. I can't wait to get started. I'm going to "Quilting in the Garden" in Livermore, Calif. tomorrow. I'll just have to find some fabric to buy!!
Thanks again,

Hi Gina,
I went to Quilting in the Garden (in the rain) today and said, "Hi" to Alex from you. Gregory Case was standing there also and said to say, "Hi" to you, too. It was fun to see Valori and Jean Wells and Valori's quilts up close and in person.
Thanks again for the patterns!!!
