I got a chance to catch up with Anna Maria Horner while at Quilt Market and she
shared some exciting news...she is going to be interviewed on the Martha Stewart Show on Nov. 15.
Anna Maria, is a fabric designer for FreeSpirit Fabrics and has several lines of gift items. This chipper, mother of five, spilled the news about her television appearance and she is so excited and nervous that she also a bit worried about possibly throwing up in Martha's lap during the LIVE filiming.
As we were walking the floor we ran into Liesl Gibson (of the Disdressed blog). Liesl launched a children's clothing line,"Olive and S", at Market. Her booth and samples of her line was beyond fantastic...you gotta see to believe...(see her photo below). It was great to finally meet her and friend Brooke at the show.
The three of us did a little "chitty chat" and I recorded it (my first video cast from Market!) and come to find out by sheer coincidence Liesl has tickets for the Martha show and on same day that Anna Maria will be featured.
You can read more about it on Anna's blog.
Anna is also launching both a home dec line and a quilting line of fabric in the next few months. She said she has just gotten the strike offs for both lines and has promised to sneak peek of both of them here. I told her to sent us a photo of her lounging on the pile of over 70 new fabric designs.![]()
More to come from Anna and Liesl as I have asked both to guest blog the tell all.
Don't forget to watch Anna on Martha on Nov. 15. Check you local listings...or Anna Maria's blog... because you know she will tells us all about it!

Hi Gina!!! Thanks (I think) for sharing the video with us. But a personal email of my chatty giggling would be fine next time around rather than public display ;-)
Teasing, of course, really excited about doing the show and very busy with preparations. It takes a lot of work to do some very simple things. Will shar more soon!

Well, poor Brooke! We (I) skipped right over her to tell you about Oliver + S! Ugh, let's stick with static photos next time, shall we? It's so much less stressful to smile than to think of something to say on video. Aw, but it was fun, too! Thanks, Gina!

Great video, thanks for sharing. Your blog has so much great content, I don't think I'll ever get through it all.

I want to go to Market, too, like Vicki's comment earlier. I can't seem to find my niche yet. Any advise?
Gina, thanks for the little bits of information you produce for us. Since the general public isn't allowed at Market it's fun for us to see what goes on.
