I try really hard not to make this blog "all about me", but this post is. In yesterday's post about "layer cakes", I mentioned that the "droopy-looking" photo of myself needed a bit of "photoshop-ing".
Blog commenter and my new best friend, Erinn Shirley, volunteered to "fix me up" in an extreme "bloggers makeover".
See me then.
With "market" bags under my eyes- and chubby arms.
See the thinner armed, perkier, younger me. Schnazzy for sure!
Thanks Erinn for working your magic!
And thanks to those who commented and set me straight on the cost of "layer cakes" from Moda. They retail for about $30. They have 40 pieces of 10" x 10" fabric and yes, I did the math, and they contain about the same amount of fabric of the 2 1/2" strips that are in a jelly roll--also sold for about $30.
PS Don't forget to comment on yesterday's post in order to be eligible to win a "Blossom" pattern --layer cakes friendly, mind you, --compliments of Joanna of FigTree Quilts.

Oh what we'll do for vanity! It was fun learning a little more about Photoshop (I didn't think you'd take me up on it!). I always learn best when under pressure. Looking at your original I think you photo guy scrunched you a bit...but you look great regardless!

Actually, I elongated myself before posting the original. I have scheduled a head shot (no arms or body involved) photo session with Gregory in the next month or two..then he can work his professional magic...You did fantastic Erinn thanks for playing.

Gina, you crack me up...you and your makeover! I'm laughing myself right off my chair! I was really nice getting to know you better at market and fun chatting with you at the Strip House.
