Things Are A Changing...See A Sneak Peek Of The New Quilters Buzz Logo...Tell Me What Your Think And Win!

Things are a changing....at the QuiltersBuzz.   I will be reformating my blog in the next little while.  And since I do sneak peeks for everyone else....I thought I would do a sneak peek of my new logo, designed by Lizzy House.

I will be writing more about  the blog transformation and Lizzy, the artist in an upcoming post.

What do you think of the new look?

Make a comment and you will be entered to win a BIG 'Ol bag of left over Christmas candy, including See's chocolate. Seriously, I am not kidding.  Plus, you will be helping in my own transformation (I signed up for Jenny Craig---and need to get rid of my Christmas candy collection!)...

Make a comment by Jan. 12 at midnight pacific time.  If I pick your name I will send you a Ol' Bag of Candy PLUS and extra special prize.

Don't send me candy! PLEASE.

Interesting logo!

P.S. Who could miss Lizzie's trademark bow!

Love the new logo - very cute! Looking forward to seeing the whole new look.

Love the new logo...
can't wait to see your new look for your blog as well.

Great logo! I can't wait to see what the site looks like when you're done with the revamp :)

As for candy, I'll eat some, probably share the rest with my work-colleagues. Share the fat and the fun, I always say!

Adorable bee! Love the logo!

I love the new logo! So unique and cute.

The bumble bee is awesome, however I think it would be stronger without the circular border. It is distracting and the small text is difficult to read. I'd recommend that you just use the bee and the "Quilters Buzz - the online quilting blog" text to the right. Congratulations on a great blog!!! (I don't want candy either)

I will accept the candy and guess what? I will proudly throw it all out with all of the junk I threw out last week. Weight
Watchers, thank you for all your help. I lost 94 lbs over two years and back slid this last 6 months. I am back on track. If I can do it, so can all of you.

The new logo and font are very fresh and the color is most appealing! I'd love to see some clues to "upcoming highlights" in the header somewhere.
Bravely, I have trashed any leftover holiday sweets so PLEASE don't send any candy my way to replace them.
Can't wait to see the whole new look!

I have room in my freezer for candy I'm not going to be eating right now. The logo is cheerful. I love the way her "hands" are on her "hips" in a can-do stance.

the logo looks very crafty!
good idea!
looking forward seeing the new site.

I know they are wings, but they look like a bee with hands on her hips. A bee on a mission, which fits you Gina....always on the lookout for good info for us.

Cute logo....

Cute logo--complete with Lizzy bow!
Hopefully you'll find someone who would be thrilled to win your candy (not me).

Love the new logo, it looks great!

I love the new logo. It is very updated and sassy looking in a good way. Take care, Cory

I like the new logo, it's cute and fun without being too cute.

oh Gina, I'm so proud of you! Cute logo- would look great on a round sticker with some metalic trim... Take the candy and donate it to Canyon Acres- the kids would love it! Missed you yesterday...

Yea...that bee has attitude....*S*

I like the modern and fresh look of the new logo. Great font choice. I'll be looking forward to see what's next.

Don't really need the candy even though we can't buy See's candy on this side of the country and do miss it!

Very cute logo, the bee is too cute and the colors are great too. Very fresh and fun!

Love the idea but that bee confuses me,like what are those things the bee is on? Is it part of a flower? A tail? The text is small and I have a large monitor. Is your trademark a hair bow or is that the designers? This seems like a sticker from a kids binder.

I love the new logo-- so happy & fun! Lizzy's a very talented artist.

Super cute logo. Very friendly and fun.

Way to go Gina....love everything about it. You never stop to amaze me with all the ideas that are swimming around in that head of yours. It is easy to see where you have been blessed with your mother's talents, but I think that even she would have a hard time keeping up with you. I would have never pictured you into quilting...but listening to your mother tell all the things you are always doing...nothing surprises me anymore. Great job!!!

Delpha

Love the logo, so happy and cheerful, it makes me smile.

I am so excited for you and Lizzy! Lizzy is such a talented artist. I love the new logo.

Too cute! Your sweet little bee is sassy and fun like you. She will be a great addition to quilters buzz! I love how you make quilting so hip. Take care, I miss you and Stephanie so much! Hugs, Kristy

LOVE the logo - super cute! It looks very fresh and hip. Great!

Love, Love, Love The New Logo!

I like it! Especially the hands on the hips! (I did not see wings at all until I went back after reading other comments)

I love Lizzy's logo design. It's hip and fresh - I just want to pinch those little bee's cheeks! Great job Lizzy! =^..^=

It is a good eye catcher - this is a true zinger not stinger!

I love the symbolism of the busy bee, (vs. the hive with smaller bees)as it looks like the cat that ate the canary - just found out the scoop while buzzing through the quilt shows and meeting fellow quilters (at a quilting bee?) Also, love her fashion (pink bow in the atenna:)

Dee

Assuming you are going with this new logo, I would suggest losing the circle and other circular text around the bee. It is not needed and does not add to the effect you probably desire. Containing the whimsical bee is unnecessary and restrains the freedom of the bee to be. If you get what I mean. Definitely strike the circle effect!

Love the new colors. More fanciful

Hi Gina,
Love the new logo. I will look forward to seeing what else you have in store for your blog.
